My absolute favorite place in town! I love that no matter who is in there everyone blends so well inside of Paynes. The atmosphere is always fun, food is yummy (especially the wings), bartenders are amazing!! Love Tina, Tyler, & Lisa! Fun place and great people you can't go wrong!!

There is something about this place that makes you feel great. Service was automatic and the welcome was warm. If you are in this area, it’s worth the visit.

Great place!!! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Parking is tricky downtown, but there are spots along the street. The food is decent and priced for the area. The beer is cold and has a solid selection of draft and bottles. There are pool tables, a jukebox, plenty of seating too. The building is historic and the establishment has been the for a long time, if the walls could talk the stories would be captivating!!! This place has the right amount of everything for an off the beaten path kind of place yet conveniently located in the bustling down town of Leesburg. They have a monicker "better here than over there"; the courthouse is across the street, one would like to agree it's better in the Downtown Saloon!!

Tyler was our bartender and the best bartender around! He was very attentive and usually it's hard to find a place that makes my drink correctly and he killed it on the 1st try!! Highly recommend.. we had a couple burgers and they were delicious! Friendly staff and patrons... 10-Stars thank you Tyler for the awesome experience...

The weekend was full of fun and entertainment as the Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival took place. The weather was absolutely amazing this year. During my Sunday afternoon escapades, I decide to stop in for some food and coffee. The bartender was 5 star for her great personality, service and welcoming smile. The food was good. The herb whiskey is worth a try. You are able to smoke within the bar area. Exceptions are also made to bring your dog in to eat with you. Awesome.

Payne's is the best bar in Downtown Leesburg, imo. I've been going here for years and always love the dive bar vibes of the place. Most recently, my husband and I had a small courtyard wedding ceremony at the courthouse across the street. Afterwards, we had a small party at Payne's. The manager and bartenders were so friendly and welcoming to our entire group, even allowing us to set up in the back room. If you're looking for an unpretentious, fun, and long-standing local water hole, you can't go wrong with Payne's.
